Dropt wanted to gamify the shopping experience and drive traffic to local and national retailers in a novel way. The concept was a hybrid Groupon meets Pokemon experience that was the first of its kind.


We built a mobile app experience that allowed brands to place any item/offer in augmented reality at any time and place that could be engaged, collected, and then redeemed at available locations. Users would open the app, pan around the smartphone and visually see floating offers. Then they would press on them to see the offer and choose to collect and redeem at a retailer.
